Individuals around the globe protest against human rights violations, speaking out and taking steps to reform the mental health industry.
Sometimes, all it takes to make a difference in the world is just one individual willing to step up and lend their voice. Join us for a screening of a Voices for Humanity episode themed on Mental Health Reform.
Human rights violations are happening worldwide in the field of mental health. If one knows his or her rights, one can protect him or herself and others from abusive practices. From wrongful commitment inside psychiatric facilities to fraud schemes, these issues are being addressed by individuals standing for those who don’t have a voice.
The screening is free-of-charge and light refreshments will be served.
Bring your business cards and take an opportunity to network with like-minded individuals.
