STAND Conference 2011: The Statewide Network on Disabilities Network on Disabilities’ 5th Annual Conference. The goal of this conference was for professionals and individuals to be provided with the resources to help children succeed in all aspects of their lives. And that we did!
CCHR Florida attended the Statewide Advocacy Network on Disabilities conference for the second year in a row. This conference is filled with individuals who have hands-on with Florida's children in a school setting.
Our message at the STAND Conference 2011 was clear:Psychiatric drugging and labeling carry harmful effects and each individual has the right to full information on the subject and on alternative treatments.
The new CCHR DVD, “Dead Wrong” was given out to the public and we now have key personnel in the state of Florida—informed and interested in getting this information out to others!
