SUMMARY:International Holocaust Remembrance Day
DESCRIPTION:A special commemoration for the Holocaust Remembrance Day\, honoring survivors of human rights abuse. \n\n\nThe United Nations General Assembly designated January 27—the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau—as International Holocaust Remembrance Day. \n  \n  \nThe U.N. urges every member state to develop educational programs to help prevent future genocides. \n  \n  \nIn honor of the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust and millions of other victims of Nazism\, the Scientology Information Center and the Florida chapter of the Citizens Commission on Human Rights will host a special afternoon commemorating this anniversary on the 30th of January from 3-6pm. \n  \n  \nThis gathering will serve as an opportunity to reflect through works of poetry and art\, bring about discussion on the importance of protecting human rights\, and inspire dialogue on how to work together as a community to instill peace and tolerance in current and future generations so it never happens again. \n  \n  \nHOST: \n  \nThe Citizens Commission on Human Rights of Florida (CCHR) is a non-profit\, non-political\, non-religious mental health watchdog organization dedicated to the restoration of human rights in the mental health industry. \n  \nOne of the many humanitarian purposes of CCHR is to raise the public’s awareness about the intimate connection in between the psychiatry’s eugenics theory and the Holocaust and prevent such atrocities from ever repeating. \n  \n  \nAll are welcome\, but seating is limited. To attend please RSVP . \n  \n  \nSunday 29 January 2023 – 3:00pm – 6:00pm. \n  \n  \nThe CCHR Florida office is located at 109 N. Fort Harrison Ave\, Clearwater\, FL 33755. \n  \nSubmit your questions to: info@cchrflorida.org or call (727) 442-8820. \n© 2022 CCHR Florida. All Rights Reserved.
