DESCRIPTION:Inviting Parents To Know More About Their Rights \n\n\nAbout this event\n\n\n\nJoin us for a complimentary Seminar. \n  \nA seminar to talk about Parental Rights\, what they are and how can a parent exert them. \n  \nWHEN: Wednesday\, September 21st from 6:00pm – 7:00pm \n  \nWHERE: CCHR Florida Office – 109 N. Fort Harrison Ave. Clearwater\, FL 33755 \n  \nDuring the 2021 legislative session Florida lawmakers passed two bills that greatly increased the protection of children and parental rights – the School Safety Bill and the Parents’ Bill of Rights. In order to ensure that parents know their rights\, CCHR Florida is hosting a free seminar. The better parents know their rights\, the better they will be able to guide the education\, health and mental health of their children. \n  \n  \n  \nLEARNING OBJECTIVES: \n  \n1. To understand some of the basic rights parents have in Florida. \n  \n2. To learn the process of how a child can be Baker Acted at school and what a parent can do to better protect their child. \n  \n3.
